Let us guide you through the cultural richness that chili brings to our society and gastronomy,
bringing together the best of a walking tour and a workshop within our speakeasy.
It is an experience suitable for everyone, even those who are not familiar with chili, since our focus is on sharing the cultural richness of our gastronomy, and each person is free to consume spicy or not and decide at all times in which quantity, just like in any mexican restaurant.
What we are going to do?
We will meet at the back of the Jamaica Market and have an introduction of the history of the neighborhood, and why it is so important in Mexico City.
Then we will have a walking tour inside the market, so you can see it through our eyes. Three generations living and working here have given to us the real spirit and energy that are experienced here.
Feel welcome in our familiar store, you will learn about its history of more than 60 years, and we will show you the way to enter our speakeasy, where we will receive you with mixology and teach you how to make a real Mexican salsa as spicy or not as you decide.
We will try your freshly made salsa and offer you a tasting menu based on the main ingredients of our gastronomy with which you can experience the real flavors of Mexico and understand more about our food and society.
After this tasting you will know much more about Mexico, its people and its food.
